‘EZEL kids’ was created in 2025 after lots of deep dives looking for quality second-hand clothing for my daughter. I expanded to ‘EZEL studio’ in 2026 when I started designing and making the clothing and textiles I was unable to find.

I set about sourcing these overlooked treasures to share with others; I believe that care and appreciation for our planet is at the heart giving clothes a second-life. Honouring those whose creativity and skill went into designing the clothes, making fabrics, putting them together feels like a deeply anti-capitalist act.

Many items are found from deep dives on the internet or hours of rummaging on my travels, some will be handmade or reworked by myself or friends using reworked fine materials. All will be chosen because they have brought me joy and because they will feel good and move well with little ones.

I currently am making clothing, accessories, and soft furnishings; wherever necessity seems to reveal itself. I tend to wait until a moment of need, either for myself or someone else, and try to find a way to fit the function while incorporating slow practices and utilising otherwise discarded or forgotten quality materials. Natural dyeing had become a part of the practice; using plants and flowers found while exploring the surrounding areas with my toddler and using food waste such as vegetable scraps from the kitchen I worked in.

I ran a Coffee Morning and Swap-Shop for parents of babies and toddlers in Sydenham Library and this will hopefully be returning in the Winter 2026.

I do markets wherever I can and details of upcoming markets will be advertised on Instagram. Past markets include: Horniman Second-hand Sundays, Museum of the Home Winter Market, Gathered Hands Summer Market, Hastings Makers Market.
